Junior Yachad
Yachad provides individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity to socialize and to be included within the Jewish Community.
Junior Yachad, for participants ages eight through fifteen, provides inclusive social and recreational programs, including Shabbatons, for children and teenagers, together with typically developing peers from local junior high school programs in Yeshiva Day Schools throughout New York and New Jersey. Junior Yachad has chapters in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Monsey, Staten Island, Westchester and New Jersey.

Advisory Staff
The Junior Yachad staff are trained to work with children/teenagers with developmental disabilities. The advisors are responsible for the Yachad members overall care and safety throughout the weekend including distribution of medication. The majority of our staff are volunteer college students from throughout the Tri-state.
