Yachad/NJCD provides resource information, referral services, consultation and direct services to individuals, families and agencies regarding disabilities.Through a quarterly newsletter, we update parents and professionals regarding current programming and services that we offer. Individuals calling our office will receive guidance, support and information regarding disability issues from professional staff providing absolute confidentiality.Conferences and workshops provide parents with vital information and a wonderful opportunity to network with other parents. Workshops in the past have included topics such as behavior management, navigating the school system, accessing employment, job readiness skills training, social skills training, futures' planning, quality assurance in residential programs, and sibling issues.
