Yad B’Yad: Israel Experience

The Yad B’Yad Israel Experience brings high school students together with Yachad members (adults with special needs) on a fabulous Israel adventure. Participants form strong bonds of friendship and undergo personal growth as they experience the Jewish homeland, Israel, in a new and unparalleled way.
With safety always our first priority, our group enjoys time in Jerusalem, on an Israeli army base, at the Kineret and Dead Sea, and many other fantastic locations. We ride camels, hike up Masada, participate in special Shabbat programs, and so much more.
Yachad members experience Israel just as their peers do, forming incredible relationships with their new friends. High school students benefit from a unique leadership training program providing hands-on experience in special education. The program begins with a three day orientation, where our high school students receive background and preparation for (interacting with our Yachad members) on our Yad B’Yad program. The orientation is followed by a Shabbaton in the New Jersey area where the high school students meet up with the Yachad members and enjoy Shabbat. The group will depart for Israel, together, on Saturday Night, July 17th.
Dates: Tuesday, July 13- Sunday, August 15th, 2010*
Cost: $6950 + $250 application fee **
Grades: Currently in grades 10-11

-Attend one of our parlor meetings (dates for a meeting in your community will be announced shortly, check back soon) and receive a coupon for $150 in savings on full tuition.
-Send in your completed application and registration fee by December 15th and receive another $150 off of tuition.
-Pay in full by March 1st and receive an addtional discount of $200.
*Please note: All dates are subject to change without notice. **Cost of program is subject to change. $100 of the application fee is refundable until March 1, 2010, $150 of the application fee is non-refundable.
