Camper Programs

Yachad/NJCD provides unique and inclusive sleepaway camp programs. Our campers enjoy swimming, boating, sports, arts & crafts, drama, learning, and so much more together with their mainstream peers. Each day, on an individual or group basis, they participate in camp activities with other bunks and campers. Our members form special friendships within their bunk, and, more importantly, with other campers throughout the camp. Our participants have the support of trained, highly motivated staff and sleep in their own bunkhouse. A complete camping experience, filled with warmth and care, and a focus on the development of social skills, fostering socialization, friendship, self- esteem and independence within a safe, secure environment.

Yachad B' Nesher Program
Dates: Monday, July 23- Monday, August 13th, 2012
Cost: $4100 + $250 registration fee SAME PRICE FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS!
Ages: 9-15

"MY" Program (Morasha/Yachad)
Dates: Wednesday, June 27- Thursday, August 16, 2012
Cost: $7700 + 250 registration fee
Ages: 12-21

Looking for something even more inclusive? Check out our shadow programs for maximum inclusion!

Campers are FULLY integrated into a typical bunk together with supportive 'shadow' staff to facilitate and promote meaningful socialization and inclusion. In these programs campers typically have learning disabilities, Asperger's syndrome, with mild to moderate social skills deficits, and, while not able to function in the bunk independently, they can do well in the typical bunk with the support of our superb staff.

Dates: Wednesday, July 25th- Tuesday, August 21st, 2012
